As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for shipping scalable products to millions of users. You will balance people leadership with deep technical involvement, ensuring high engineering standards and rapid delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers.
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas, balancing speed and reliability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to define technical execution.
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, infrastructure, and integrations.
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues.
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale.
- Monitor production systems, resolve incidents, and prevent recurrence.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems.
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers and owning delivery.
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability.
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production.
- Comfortable reviewing designs, challenging decisions, and debugging complex issues.
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams.
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.
- Ability to work fast with ambiguity and drive teams toward clear outcomes.
- Strong ownership mentality regarding delivery slips or production breaks.
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.
