Doit is reinventing personal finance by using AI to make spending, saving, and investing smarter and more accessible. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for scaling products used by millions of users across Southeast Asia and beyond.
You will balance people leadership with deep technical involvement, ensuring the team ships reliable software quickly. The role requires close collaboration with product, design, and AI teams to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas ensuring speed and reliability
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scale
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving teams toward clear goals
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
