As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for scaling products used by millions across Southeast Asia and beyond. You will balance technical excellence with rapid delivery, ensuring the team ships reliable solutions that meet real customer needs.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full-stack engineering teams
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas with a focus on speed and quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers and owning delivery
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea through development to launch
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving teams toward clear goals
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
