You will guide engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines to deliver scalable solutions for millions of users. This position requires balancing architectural decisions with team development to ensure high-quality, rapid product delivery.
The team focuses on expanding financial services in Southeast Asia, including spending, saving, and investing. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising quality
- Drive technical architecture for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, security, and observability
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Resolve production incidents and identify root causes
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs for scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea to production launch
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
