Join Siena as an Engineering Manager to oversee engineering execution for Channels, Analytics, Agents, and Integrations. You will manage day-to-day operations, allowing the senior leadership to focus on strategy, while driving product delivery and team growth in a fast-scaling AI startup.
What you'll do
- Own weekly delivery cadence for Channels and Analytics teams
- Sequence priorities with product managers and engineering leadership
- Proactively unblock engineers to prevent escalations
- Collaborate with engineers to write technical debt plans
- Improve developer experience by removing friction and adding structure
- Conduct 1:1s that provide clear thinking and direct feedback
- Mentor senior engineers toward management roles
- Act as a backup partner for hiring processes
What you'll need
- 3+ years managing engineering teams in product-delivery roles
- Experience in startup or scale-up environments building from 0-1
- Genuine fluency in AI, LLMs, agentic systems, and model reliability
- Ability to own outcomes rather than just managing people
- Comfort working without established processes or safety nets
Nice to have
- Technical credibility with senior engineers
- Experience with security, compliance, or SOC-adjacent work
- History of working without dedicated TPM or staff engineer support
- Experience managing senior engineers who need thought partnership
