Lead the engineering efforts for Vanta's Trust Center and Questionnaire products, helping organizations automate security assessments. You will manage 11 engineers across two squads, driving delivery of strategic roadmaps that combine agentic AI innovation with enterprise expansion.
What you'll do
- Lead two squads to deliver against a clear product roadmap consistently
- Foster a culture of high accountability with weekly goal tracking
- Partner with product and design to shape priorities and tradeoffs
- Guide technical decisions and architecture discussions without coding daily
- Attract, retain, and uplevel senior individual contributors
- Collaborate cross-functionally to clear blockers and ship business value
- Help build engineering processes and norms for organizational scale
What you'll need
- 2+ years of full-time engineering management experience
- Experience leading teams of 6–8+ engineers
- Track record of disciplined delivery practices and timeline accountability
- Background in product engineering for customer-facing software
- Comfortable reading specs and making informed technical tradeoffs
- Proven ability to shape product strategy in partnership with PMs
- Uses AI in daily work to amplify skills and ensure quality outcomes
