You will manage a team of Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers responsible for the foundations supporting Virta’s business, care delivery, and AI initiatives. Your primary objectives include finalizing the migration to BigQuery and Looker, establishing engineering standards, and building reusable analytical models.
The role requires balancing technical leadership with stakeholder management across Engineering, Analytics, Finance, and Clinical teams. You will drive the adoption of self-service tools and ensure data reliability for machine learning workflows while coaching your team through their technical and career growth.
What you'll do
- Lead and coach both data engineering and analytics engineering disciplines
- Complete the BigQuery medallion architecture and Looker Core rollout
- Translate stakeholder needs into a focused roadmap and resolve priorities
