Kraken's Growth Foundations team builds the AI-native Growth Engine, providing tools and automation for company-wide growth initiatives. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers while remaining hands-on in the codebase to deliver high-impact features.
What you'll do
- Mentor and support a cross-functional team of engineers
- Collaborate with Product and Design on scope and priorities
- Provide technical guidance for architectural decisions
- Write production-grade code daily to set quality standards
- Leverage AI tooling to boost team productivity
- Improve processes and collaboration across time zones
What you'll need
- Experience leading engineering teams in collaborative settings
- Strong backend technical foundation and code review skills
- Proficiency in modern AI-driven development workflows
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Python
- Experience working in distributed, remote-first teams
- Ability to align engineering efforts with business goals
Nice to have
- Experience with analytics or growth tooling
- Background in developer experience or internal platforms
- Exposure to scaling teams during high-growth phases
