Lead the Data Activation teams at B2Spin, scaling a Free-to-Play Social Casino platform. This hands-on leadership position requires balancing technical credibility with people development, driving reliable delivery, and raising engineering standards within an AI-integrated workflow.
What you'll do
- Coordinate priorities across cross-functional teams to ensure reliable delivery
- Conduct performance reviews and support career growth for team members
- Enforce architecture patterns and code quality standards
- Partner with Product Managers to define initiatives and remove blockers
- Refine planning processes to improve team effectiveness as the organization scales
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis to enhance platform reliability
What you'll need
- Substantial backend engineering experience with deep Java expertise
- Proven experience building high-load, event-driven, cloud-native systems
- Track record of leading teams delivering complex production systems
- Experience with incident response, post-mortems, and platform improvements
- Ability to engage with product initiatives and identify engineering risks
- Skilled at scoping work realistically and communicating trade-offs
Nice to have
- Background in iGaming, fintech, or high-throughput real-time platforms
- Experience transitioning from senior IC roles to people leadership
- Hands-on familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, or GCP
- Frontend development experience
