Lead the Ingest team, which builds the bridge between wanting observability and having it. You will manage engineers working on Fleet Management, the Kubernetes Monitoring Helm Chart, and the Instrumentation Hub to simplify data collection for customers.
This position requires guiding a distributed team through the full project lifecycle while collaborating with product and go-to-market leaders. You will foster a culture of autonomy, psychological safety, and continuous improvement in a remote-first environment.

- Provide regular feedback and support career growth through conversations
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams to ensure customer success
- Align with product leadership on user experience for Grafana Cloud
- Guide projects from ideation to post-launch delivery
- Foster a psychologically safe environment for experimentation
- Contribute to cross-team projects to solve customer problems
What you'll need
- Experience managing engineering teams with high autonomy
- Knowledge of Observability or OpenTelemetry is a strong advantage
- Experience building central control planes for collector fleets is a plus
- Solid understanding of distributed systems principles
- Comfortable collaborating across time zones in a remote setting
- Ability to align stakeholders and manage complexity
- Curiosity and comfort with AI-assisted development tools
