Lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling products used by millions across Southeast Asia. You will drive technical architecture, ensure delivery quality, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement while working closely with product and design teams.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, security, and observability
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability in architecture
- Track record of taking products from idea to launch and production
- Strong people leadership and ability to build high-performing teams
- Product sense connecting engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
