Lead a high-performing platform team responsible for KOHO's mobile and web infrastructure, internal tools, and risk management systems. You will oversee release processes, enhance developer experience with AI-integrated workflows, and manage vendor relationships while collaborating with Product, Security, and Risk stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Manage a team of full-stack engineers and contractors, fostering growth and ownership
- Oversee mobile app releases, including build pipelines and store submissions
- Improve frontend developer experience through better tooling and AI workflows
- Deliver and maintain internal tools for operations and support teams
- Lead risk-related systems and partner with compliance stakeholders
- Manage third-party vendor relationships, contracts, and performance
- Ensure system reliability through observability and incident response
- Collaborate with authentication teams and define quarterly roadmaps
What you'll need
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience in production environments
- 1-3 years managing engineering teams of 3-6 people
- Proven track record of owning critical customer-facing systems
- Experience managing third-party vendors and making build-vs-buy decisions
- Ability to translate ambiguous business objectives into actionable plans
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Balance strategic roadmap planning with hands-on technical execution
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile CI/CD and app store processes at scale
- Background in building internal tools that improve operational efficiency
- Knowledge of risk, identity, or auth domains like OAuth/OIDC and SSO
- Familiarity with vendors such as Onfido or Auth0
- Passion for improving developer experience via shared components and CI/CD
- Experience implementing AI-assisted development and testing workflows
- Understanding of end-to-end system ownership including on-call duties
