You will lead a newly structured team within the Product Platform group, evolving Vanta’s reporting capabilities beyond standard dashboards. The focus is on creating a scalable, AI-driven experience that helps customers visualize and operationalize their security programs.
This position sits at the intersection of data products and enterprise scalability. You will shape engineering execution and technical direction while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and customer retention.
What you'll do
- Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering team
- Deliver multi-quarter roadmaps for reporting infrastructure
- Define long-term vision and architecture for data products
- Balance near-term customer impact with platform investments
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and business stakeholders
What you'll need
- 4+ years of full-time engineering management experience
- Proven track record managing 8-12 or more engineers
- Experience building reporting or data visualization products
- Strong technical depth in data infrastructure and architecture
- Ability to set strategy in partnership with Product teams
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity and making balanced decisions
- Willingness to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency
