You will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling products that serve millions of users. This position requires balancing technical depth with people leadership, ensuring rapid delivery without compromising system reliability or code quality.
The role demands close collaboration with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution. You will set engineering standards, drive architecture decisions, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement within a global, remote environment.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas
- Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers and manage team performance
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
- Monitor systems and resolve production incidents
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production experience
- Experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architecture and technical trade-offs
- Track record of taking products from idea to production
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving priorities
- Strong English communication skills
