You will manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for scaling products across frontend, backend, and full-stack domains. This position requires balancing technical depth with people leadership to ensure rapid delivery without compromising system reliability or code quality.
The team operates globally, focusing on financial tools that help users save, invest, and manage money. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution while maintaining high engineering standards.
What you'll do
- Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack development
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed and technical quality
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and observability
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Resolve production incidents and identify root causes
- Improve tooling and automation to support team scale
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Experience managing software engineers and owning delivery
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Track record of taking products from idea to production
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English communication skills
