You will manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling financial products. This position requires balancing technical depth with people leadership, ensuring rapid delivery without compromising system reliability or code quality.
The team works on frontend, backend, and full-stack development within a global, remote environment. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution.
What you'll do
- Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas
- Drive technical architecture for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve tooling and automation to increase team velocity
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Track record of shipping products from idea to production
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and setting priorities
- Strong English communication skills
