DoIT is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for scaling products used by millions across Southeast Asia and beyond.
You will balance technical depth with people leadership, driving engineering standards while ensuring rapid delivery of reliable systems. This position requires close collaboration with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising quality
- Drive technical architecture for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, security, and observability
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debugging sessions
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents effectively
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs for scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea to production launch
- Strong people leadership and coaching abilities
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
