DOIT seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team developing scalable financial tools. The role involves driving engineering delivery, setting technical standards, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with product and design teams.
You will balance technical depth with people management, ensuring the team ships reliable software quickly. The position requires staying close to the code through reviews and architecture decisions while fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas
- Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Coach engineers and manage performance through feedback
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
- Monitor systems and resolve production incidents
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production experience
- Experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architecture and technical trade-offs
- Track record of taking products from idea to production
- Strong people leadership and coaching abilities
- Strong English communication skills
How you'll work
- Hybrid role based in Taiwan
- Work from local office at least 3 days per week
