You will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling products in the travel and financial sector. This role requires balancing technical depth with people leadership, ensuring rapid delivery without compromising system reliability or code quality.
Working across frontend, backend, and full-stack domains, you will drive architecture decisions and foster a culture of ownership. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution while mentoring engineers to raise the team's performance bar.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack development
- Own engineering delivery to ensure speed, reliability, and technical quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and team building
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
