You will guide engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines to deliver scalable solutions for millions of users. This position requires balancing architectural decisions with rapid product delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
The team operates globally, focusing on expanding financial services such as insurance, savings, and travel. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Ensure rapid delivery without compromising reliability or quality
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for testing, observability, security, and code quality
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debugging sessions
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve tooling and automation to increase team velocity
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents effectively
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Experience managing software engineers and owning delivery
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Track record of taking products from idea to production launch
- Strong people leadership and coaching abilities
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and setting priorities
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
