DoIT is reinventing financial tools for spending, saving, and traveling, with a focus on making finance accessible through AI. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for scaling products used by millions across Southeast Asia and beyond.
You will balance people leadership with technical depth, ensuring the team ships reliable software quickly. The role requires close collaboration with product, design, and AI teams to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical execution.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and mentoring
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scale
- Track record of taking products from idea to launch and production
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and performance management
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
