Lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling a Travel FX app used by millions across the region. This role requires a strong technical leader who balances people management, product sense, and deep technical expertise to drive systems from idea to production.
You will set high engineering standards while ensuring the team delivers real customer outcomes quickly and reliably. The company focuses on reinventing finance through AI-driven tools that make spending, saving, and traveling smarter and more accessible.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, security, and observability
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and AI teams on execution
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scale
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
