You will guide engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines to deliver scalable solutions for millions of users. This position requires balancing architectural decisions with rapid product delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development
- Ensure rapid shipping of features without compromising reliability or quality
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical execution paths
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure systems
- Establish standards for code quality, testing, security, and observability
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production
- Comfortable reviewing designs and debugging complex production issues
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and team building
- Product sense to connect engineering work to business outcomes
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and establish priorities
- Strong ownership mentality for delivery and problem resolution
- Fluent English communication skills for global collaboration
