Doit is reinventing personal finance by building AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for scaling products used across Southeast Asia. You will balance technical depth with people leadership to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of customer-facing features.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas ensuring speed and reliability
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to define technical execution
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, infrastructure, and integrations
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea to launch and production
- Comfortable reviewing designs and debugging complex production issues
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and team building
- Product sense to connect engineering work to business outcomes
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive teams toward clear goals
- Strong ownership mentality for delivery and incident resolution
- Fluent English communication skills for global collaboration
