As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers. You will balance technical excellence with rapid delivery, ensuring reliable systems that serve millions of users across Southeast Asia and beyond.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery while maintaining reliability and quality
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams on execution
- Drive technical architecture for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debugging
- Coach engineers and manage performance through regular feedback
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents effectively
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural and technical trade-offs
- Track record of shipping products from idea to production
- Comfortable reviewing designs and debugging complex issues
- Strong people leadership and team-building skills
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Ability to work fast with ambiguity and establish priorities
- Strong ownership mentality for delivery and system stability
