As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for building and scaling products across the region. You will balance technical excellence with rapid delivery, ensuring reliable systems while mentoring engineers.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising quality
- Collaborate with product and design to define technical execution
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, security, and reliability
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debugging sessions
- Mentor engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents effectively
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs for scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea to production launch
- Comfortable reviewing designs and debugging complex issues
- Strong people leadership and coaching abilities
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Ability to work fast with ambiguity and establish priorities
- Strong ownership mentality for delivery and system reliability
