You will manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for scaling products used by millions of users. This position requires balancing technical depth with people leadership, ensuring rapid delivery without compromising system reliability or code quality.
The role demands close collaboration with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution. You will set engineering standards, drive architectural decisions, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas
- Drive technical architecture for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve tooling and automation to increase team speed
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production experience
- Experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs
- Track record of shipping products from idea to launch
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and fast priorities
- Strong English communication skills
