Lead a high-performing engineering team building and scaling products for a mobile-first financial platform. You will drive technical architecture, ensure reliable delivery, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and AI teams.
This position requires a hands-on leader who balances people management with deep technical involvement. You will own engineering outcomes, from code quality to production reliability, in a global, fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines.
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas ensuring speed and quality.
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security.
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale.
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience.
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams.
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scale.
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production.
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clear outcomes.
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.
