As an Engineering Quality Lead at Pulsora, you will combine software development expertise with AI-driven strategies to enhance product reliability. You will lead efforts to reduce production defects, automate testing, and coach engineering teams on best practices, ensuring quality is built into every release of the enterprise sustainability platform.
What you'll do
- Analyze Jira issues and production defects to trace root causes using AI
- Review pull requests and code to identify recurring defect patterns
- Build defect taxonomies and recommend architectural improvements
- Generate and review Playwright, API, and integration tests using AI
- Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines
- Coach developers and QA engineers on AI-assisted automation
- Define engineering standards and improve quality metrics
- Conduct root cause reviews to drive measurable defect reductions
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years of hands-on coding experience
- Experience leading teams of developers and QA engineers
- Proven success using AI tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code
- Strong development skills in Java and/or Python
- Deep understanding of software architecture and CI/CD
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis capabilities
- Willingness to work core India business hours
