Lead a development team responsible for Threat Protection functionality within the NordVPN application. You will own team output, plan technical goals, and ensure high-quality delivery while empowering developers to resolve blockers and grow their careers.
What you'll do
- Drive delivery of Threat Protection features for NordVPN
- Own team output and track technical delivery goals
- Identify and facilitate resolution of team roadblocks
- Ensure adherence to latest security practices and standards
- Guide developer career growth and personal development plans
- Collaborate on technical debates and problem solving
- Perform quality code reviews and contribute to codebase
What you'll need
- Experience leading engineering teams, preferably with C/C++
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design mindset
- Knowledge of network stack and low-level programming
- Ability to design technical solutions and review code
- Understanding of business goals and product vision
- High sense of responsibility and ownership of work quality
- Open communication style and transparency in teamwork
Nice to have
- Experience with Windows API and Kernel development
- Expertise in Apple, Mac, or Linux environments
- Positive attitude towards feedback and self-improvement
