Clarium is transforming healthcare supply chains with Astra OS, an AI platform that provides end-to-end visibility and automation for major health systems. As a Tech Lead, you will drive system design and engineering standards while remaining deeply involved in production code.
You will partner with product and engineering leadership to align technical decisions with business goals, mentoring the team through code reviews and pairing rather than formal management. This position offers significant technical influence in a high-growth environment focused on solving critical industry challenges.
What you'll do
- Drive system design, architecture, and technical direction for team projects
- Write production code to set technical standards through hands-on contribution
- Mentor engineers via code review, pairing, and technical guidance
- Partner with Product to translate roadmap priorities into technical plans
- Identify and resolve technical risks, debt, and cross-team dependencies
- Establish and evolve engineering best practices and tooling
What you'll need
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership
- Deep hands-on experience with Python, React, and TypeScript
- Track record of sound architecture decisions in fast-moving environments
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising team technical bar
- Strong collaboration skills to align tech with product goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, supply chain, or regulated domains
- Background scaling systems in early-stage startups
