Join Jane's Platform Security function as one of the first engineers shaping its direction. You will partner with IT and Infrastructure teams to reduce attack surfaces across endpoints, identities, and sensitive health data. The team emphasizes security as a collaborative partnership rather than a gatekeeping function.
You will own well-scoped initiatives independently while leveraging AI and automation to minimize manual toil. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to grow your skills in a remote-first environment serving thousands of healthcare clinics.
What you'll do
- Own endpoint hardening baselines including CIS benchmarks and EDR tuning
- Investigate and contain security incidents while sharing on-call duties
- Strengthen identity access via phishing-resistant MFA and conditional access policies
- Implement data protection controls such as SASE, CASB, and DLP
- Tune SIEM detections and build AI-assisted workflows to reduce operational toil
What you'll need
- 2 to 4 years in enterprise security, SecOps, or incident response
- Hands-on experience with endpoint security and EDR tools like CrowdStrike Falcon
- Practical knowledge of SSO, MFA, IdPs like Okta, and least-privilege principles
- Experience investigating SIEM alerts and separating signal from noise
- Strong written communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Datadog as a SIEM platform
- Habit of building automation workflows to reduce manual tasks
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework
