You will lead the Epic Tapestry applications team, providing oversight for design, implementation, and maintenance of health plan functionality. This role ensures solutions align with operational priorities and regulatory requirements while supporting analysts and stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage the Epic Tapestry applications team and resources
- Oversee functionality including Managed Care Administration and Contracts
- Partner with leadership to establish application strategy and roadmaps
- Manage application projects, scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentor analysts on complex build and troubleshooting issues
- Coordinate with other teams to manage cross-application dependencies
- Translate business requirements into effective Epic solutions
- Support Epic upgrades, testing initiatives, and go-live activities
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of Epic application experience with Tapestry focus
- Previous experience managing or leading an Epic application team
- Strong knowledge of managed care and payer workflows
- Experience leading Epic implementations or major projects
- Understanding of Epic governance and release management processes
