As Halter expands into South America, this pioneer role serves as the primary link between local cattle producers and the global product team. You will deploy hardware in the field, observe real-world usage, and translate those observations into actionable feedback for engineers and product managers in New Zealand.
This position is not desk-based; it demands active presence on farms to ensure the virtual fencing technology delivers immediate value. You will help shape the product roadmap by identifying necessary improvements and advocating for the specific needs of the region's agricultural sector.
What you'll do
- Onboard initial customers by deploying Halter hardware directly on their farms
- Gather deep insights on local farming operations to inform product strategy
- Communicate clear, actionable feedback to remote product and engineering teams
- Educate the wider company on nuances of South American livestock production
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment during market scaling
- Ensure early adopters achieve tangible results using the platform
- Critically evaluate the product lifecycle to identify areas for improvement
What you'll need
- Mandatory experience in South American livestock production
- Professional fluency in English for daily collaboration and interviews
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed
