Connectly is a Series B startup enabling retailers in Latin America to engage customers via WhatsApp. You will join a remote-first team to design and scale backend services that power conversational experiences for major enterprises.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain distributed backend systems using Go and AWS
- Own platform infrastructure including messaging orchestration and data pipelines
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to deliver scalable customer-facing features
- Ensure reliability and observability across all services
- Mentor teammates and uphold engineering best practices
- Work asynchronously with global teams while maintaining clear documentation
What you'll need
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Proven track record scaling enterprise systems with Go and AWS
- Experience with Kafka, Postgres, and/or DynamoDB
- Based in Europe
- Strong system design and concurrency understanding
Nice to have
- Experience with Python
- Frontend engineering skills in React or TypeScript
- Prior work on WhatsApp conversational applications
- Background in fast-paced startup environments
