Join Horizon3 to design and own the data platform supporting business-critical pipelines for account provisioning and product analytics. You will expand infrastructure across multiple regions with a special focus on Federal workloads, evaluating lakehouse platforms and defining data contracts.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines using AWS Glue and Spark
- Operate core data infrastructure including warehouse and orchestration
- Evaluate warehouse strategies such as Databricks lakehouse platforms
- Define batch or event-driven contracts between producer and consumer teams
- Design and evolve warehouse schemas and data models
- Build observability into pipelines and platform components
- Drive collaboration across teams to own outcomes end to end
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in data or backend engineering
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean code practices
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and data architecture
- Fluent SQL and strong data-modeling skills for warehouse design
- Experience owning production data infrastructure end to end
- Ability to work within US Government FedRAMP to TS cloud environments
- US Citizen with ability to gain and maintain TS Security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
