Lead the deployment of connected environmental monitoring solutions across enterprise commercial properties. You will manage projects from planning to go-live, ensuring devices are correctly installed and reporting data to cloud analytics platforms.
This remote role requires coordinating third-party installers, client IT teams, and contractors. You provide technical direction for networking and connectivity issues without performing physical installation work yourself.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end deployment projects from planning to final go-live
- Review floor plans and construction drawings for device placement
- Coordinate installers, contractors, and client IT or facility teams
- Troubleshoot networking issues like IP, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls
- Verify device installation, connectivity, and clean data reporting
- Maintain project documentation, status updates, and deployment records
- Resolve deployment blockers and support continuous process improvement
What you'll need
- 3+ years deploying physical tech in occupied commercial buildings
- Strong ability to read floor plans and construction drawings
- Practical networking knowledge including IP, DNS, and VLANs
- Experience coordinating third-party contractors or field teams
- Strong project coordination and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to direct others through on-site troubleshooting remotely
- Clear communication skills for diverse stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with BMS, HVAC controls, or building automation
- Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or similar building protocols
- Background in deploying IoT or connected building technologies
- Experience working with general or low-voltage contractors
- Familiarity with cloud-connected hardware or sensor deployments
