You will lead the deployment of smart sensor and analytics solutions across enterprise commercial properties. The role combines project ownership with deep technical troubleshooting, coordinating between contractors, client IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful go-live.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end deployment projects from planning to go-live
- Review floor plans to determine device and gateway placement
- Coordinate third-party installers, contractors, and client teams
- Troubleshoot networking issues including VLANs, firewalls, and DNS
- Resolve complex technical tickets requiring deep troubleshooting
- Guide contractors through on-site resolution of connectivity issues
- Maintain clear project documentation and stakeholder communications
What you'll need
- 3+ years deploying physical tech in commercial buildings
- Experience with IoT, low-voltage, security, or BMS systems
- Strong ability to read construction drawings and floor plans
- Practical knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs
- Experience coordinating third-party contractors and vendors
- Strong customer-facing communication and business acumen
- Ability to take ownership of problems through to resolution
Nice to have
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, or building automation protocols
- Familiarity with Niagara/Tridium or major BMS platforms
- Experience deploying cloud-connected hardware or sensors
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi constraints, LoRaWAN, or PoE technologies
- Experience with technical support ticketing systems like Zendesk
- Familiarity with WELL/LEED or healthy-building certifications
