Join the team building Super Intelligence technologies, including Colossus supercomputers and Grok models. As a Field Engineer, you will serve as the technical partner for federal civilian and defense agencies adopting Cursor for software development. You will guide engineering leaders and program teams through evaluations and implementations in high-security environments.
What you'll do
- Partner with Account Executives on technical discovery and validation
- Conduct proofs of concept and technical demos for new deals
- Build relationships with engineering, security, and IT stakeholders
- Navigate complex setups in mission-critical environments
- Deliver workshops and presentations to technical and executive audiences
- Advocate for customer needs internally with Product and Engineering teams
- Collaborate with post-sales teams for smooth onboarding handoffs
What you'll need
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Understanding of SDLC and operational impact
- Hands-on fluency in developer workflows and AI tooling
- Experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Pre-Sales
- Background in federal, defense, or highly regulated tech sectors
- Ability to obtain a federal security clearance
