You will own the delivery of complex data platform migrations, leveraging Datafold's proprietary AI technology to accelerate execution. Acting as the primary technical contact, you will manage stakeholder expectations, configure migration agents, and ensure timely project completion.
This role blends data engineering expertise with project leadership, requiring you to remove blockers and partner with internal engineering teams. You will help refine delivery playbooks while handling multiple concurrent client engagements.
What you'll do
- Manage 1–4 concurrent migration projects from scoping to handoff
- Serve as primary customer contact for weekly check-ins and risk management
- Configure Datafold's Migration Agent and oversee execution
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to deliver migrations
- Refine product features and delivery playbooks based on project insights
What you'll need
- 3–6 years in data consulting, professional services, or customer-facing data engineering
- Strong communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Proficiency with modern data stack including dbt, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Knowledge of orchestration tools and patterns like streaming and incremental processing
- Demonstrated ownership mentality with proactive problem-solving abilities
- Daily user of AI tools with a focus on continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience with legacy data stacks such as ETL and stored procedures
- Background in data platform migration projects
