You will own the delivery of complex data platform migration projects, acting as the primary technical and strategic contact for clients. Leveraging Datafold's AI technology, you will manage execution, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery while partnering with internal engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Manage 1–4 concurrent migration projects from scoping to handoff
- Serve as primary customer contact for check-ins and risk management
- Configure Migration Agent and oversee technical execution
- Collaborate with engineering team to deliver migration tasks
- Refine product features and delivery playbooks based on field experience
What you'll need
- 3–6 years in data consulting or customer-facing data engineering
- Strong communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Proficiency with dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, and orchestration tools
- Understanding of stored procedures, streaming, and incremental processing
- Demonstrated ownership mentality and proactive problem solving
- Daily user of AI tools with a focus on continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience with legacy data stacks and ETL patterns
- Background in data platform migration projects
