Join a founder-led AI-native platform that converts Shopify stores into native mobile applications. You will serve as the primary technical partner for consumer brands, translating their Shopify data and brand guidelines into polished mobile experiences.
The role involves scoping, building, and shipping customer requests end-to-end. You will manage live accounts, lead new launches, and turn recurring challenges into documented internal patterns.
What you'll do
- Scope, build, and ship customer implementation requests from start to finish
- Transform Shopify metafields and metaobjects into functional app UIs
- Lead new customer launches including setup audits and configuration
- Maintain long-term technical relationships with onboarded accounts
- Execute designs within existing brand systems for native feel
- Triage request queues and prioritize tasks with customers and CS
- Convert repeat issues into internal playbooks and product feedback
What you'll need
- 3-6 years software engineering experience with 2+ years in React Native
- Deep expertise in Shopify ecosystem and metafield-driven UIs
- Production experience with Shopify Admin and Storefront GraphQL APIs
- Fluent in Liquid and experienced with Online Store 2.0 themes
- Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Design literacy with ability to extract tokens from Figma files
- Excellent communication skills for daily customer interaction via Slack
Nice to have
- Background at a Shopify Partner agency or implementation shop
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus tools like Functions and Flow
- Knowledge of e-commerce tools such as Klaviyo or Recharge
- Exposure to headless commerce patterns like Hydrogen or Next.js
- Advanced Figma fluency beyond basic token extraction
