Join 8returns, a Berlin-based SaaS company rethinking e-commerce returns. You will design and build integrations connecting the platform with shops, ERPs, and warehouse tools for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and SNOCKS.
The position requires structuring technical requirements, debugging integration issues, and turning recurring patterns into reusable components while working closely with founders and clients.
What you'll do
- Analyze and structure technical customer requirements
- Build integrations with shops, ERPs, and 3PL systems
- Implement data flows using APIs and webhooks
- Guide projects from technical assessment to production
- Assess feasibility and risks for sales teams
- Develop custom automations and product adjustments
- Debug integration issues and create robust fixes
- Convert recurring patterns into reusable modules
What you'll need
- Background in Software or Solutions Engineering
- Strong understanding of APIs and data models
- Experience with webhooks and authentication
- Ability to structure and solve open technical problems
- Proficient in AI-native coding tools like Cursor
- Native-level German speaking skills
- Clear communication with clients on tech topics
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving
Nice to have
- Experience with Shopify platform
- Knowledge of ERP or WMS systems
- Background in e-commerce industry
