Join Nash as a Forward Deployed Engineer to ship code that powers delivery for major retailers like Walmart and Woolworths. You will operate at the edge, building and deploying production systems while collaborating with customer engineering teams and internal product groups.
This position is part of the foundational team establishing Nash’s engineering presence in Australia. You will take products from concept to live deployment, solving real-world logistics problems and influencing the platform's direction in the APAC region.
What you'll do
- Build and deploy production systems for top enterprise retailers
- Collaborate directly with customer engineering, ops, and leadership teams
- Take new products from concept through to live deployments
- Design and extend core infrastructure for global delivery orchestration
- Partner with product and AI teams to shape APAC strategy
- Debug logistics workflows across fleets, APIs, and integrations
What you'll need
- At least four years of experience shipping production software
- Strong background in APIs, backend systems, or platform integrations
- Ability to switch between coding, customer issues, and architecture
- Clear communication skills for interacting with operators and executives
- Driven by building software that impacts physical world operations
