Join Sweed’s technical support team as a Forward Deployed Engineer, where you will lead client onboarding and data integration efforts. You will handle complex ETL tasks, moving inventory and customer data from legacy systems into Sweed’s enterprise-grade platform while adhering to strict compliance standards.
What you'll do
- Manage active queues of implementation tickets and projects against deadlines
- Execute ETL processes to migrate client data into Sweed’s ecosystem
- Establish and follow SOPs for data migration accuracy and repeatability
- Communicate proactively about timeline shifts or technical blockers
- Triage and resolve emergencies during or after business hours
- Lead client meetings and explain technical concepts clearly
What you'll need
- 2+ years in technical implementation, integration, or data engineering
- Proficiency in Python (intermediate+) and SQL
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and CSV/DataFrame manipulation
- Strong verbal English communication skills for client interactions
- Comfort working in US time zones for regular client syncs
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues methodically without immediate escalation
- Experience leading or mentoring others in a technical context
Nice to have
- Experience with POS data migrations or retail transactional data
- Familiarity with Airflow, AWS S3, or Metrc track-and-trace systems
- Background in healthcare or defense data environments
- Prior work in cannabis tech or adjacent SaaS industries
