As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will embed directly with strategic customers to build agents, integrations, and data pipelines on Redpanda’s Agentic Data Plane. You are responsible for writing production-quality code within customer environments, ensuring seamless integration and successful handoffs.
This role focuses on delivery rather than sales or advisory work. You will operate in diverse technical landscapes, rapidly adapting to new codebases and constraints to drive mission-critical projects to completion while feeding product insights back to internal engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Write production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines inside customer environments
- Ramp up quickly in unfamiliar codebases and build on existing infrastructure without breaking it
- Design technical approaches, build solutions, and ensure clean handoffs with documentation
