As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will bridge the gap between Cohere's North product and client engineering teams. You will lead end-to-end deployments, ensuring secure integration of AI agents into critical business workflows while maintaining strict data privacy standards.
You will work directly with customers to assess infrastructure needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and design deployment strategies for private and hybrid cloud environments. This role requires high-velocity experimentation and a strong focus on customer success.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises settings
- Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure and security needs
- Design deployment strategies tailored to client compliance and privacy standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime
- Experiment rapidly to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations
What you'll need
- Experience deploying enterprise software in private or hybrid cloud environments
- Proven expertise administering production Kubernetes clusters and Helm
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure including Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
- Fluent business-level English and proficiency in another regional language
- Ability to execute effectively in fast-paced, changing environments
