Doppel is a Series C startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, focused on protecting brands from phishing, impersonation, and AI-powered fraud. The team builds an AI-native platform that unifies Digital Risk Protection, Human Risk Management, and Email Security to detect and dismantle attacker infrastructure.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with enterprise customers to understand their needs, prototype end-to-end solutions, and build integrations that evolve into core product features. You will bridge the gap between technical engineering and customer success in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Build customer-facing applications and workflows to solve enterprise problems
- Develop AI-powered automations and integrations for internal and external use
- Prototype and ship end-to-end solutions that may become core product features
- Partner with enterprise customers to drive successful deployments
- Maintain integrations with APIs, webhooks, identity providers, and SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Troubleshoot authentication issues involving OAuth, SAML, and SCIM
- Manage multiple customer projects across engineering and product teams
- Translate customer feedback into scalable product improvements
- Build internal tooling to accelerate onboarding and operational workflows
- Create documentation and dashboards for customer deployments
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production application experience
- Proficiency in Python is preferred
- Comfortable working directly with enterprise and non-technical customers
- Strong understanding of enterprise authentication (OAuth, SAML, SCIM)
- Experience with webhooks, REST APIs, and system integrations
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams
- Product-minded and autonomous in a fast-paced startup environment
