As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Socure, you will embed with large enterprise clients to transform their operational workflows into trusted production systems using RiskOS. You will own the entire lifecycle from technical scoping and system design to deployment and evaluation, ensuring AI agents operate reliably within complex customer environments.
This role requires strong technical skills and product mindset to solve ambiguous problems where speed, trust, and explainability are critical. You will work directly with customers to understand their data and processes, building integrations and tuning agentic workflows to deliver measurable value in fraud, risk, and compliance operations.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with strategic customers to understand workflows, data environments, and business goals.
- Lead discovery, scoping, design, build, integration, and rollout of AI-assisted RiskOS workflows.
- Translate customer policies and operational processes into reliable production workflows and agent behaviors.
- Write code, configure systems, and integrate with customer infrastructure, APIs, and security boundaries.
- Evaluate and tune agentic workflows through testing, observability, guardrails, and production feedback.
- Measure deployed workflow impact on speed, accuracy, analyst productivity, and operational control.
- Convert field learnings and repeatable patterns into reusable templates, playbooks, and product capabilities.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or similar hands-on technical roles.
- Strong ability to build practical solutions across APIs, integrations, workflow logic, and cloud services.
- Proven track record of taking ambiguous customer problems from discovery to production delivery.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers or stakeholders to define and ship solutions.
- Product-minded engineering judgment balancing architecture, implementation, and user needs.
- Systems thinking skills to break complex workflows into modular, testable, and improvable components.
- Comfort with high agency and ambiguity in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying AI, ML, LLM, or decision-support systems in production environments.
- Background in fraud, risk, identity verification, KYC, AML, or compliance operations.
- Experience working with large financial institutions, government agencies, or fintechs.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration, rules engines, or operational automation tools.
- Knowledge of retrieval systems, tool calling, copilots, or evaluation frameworks.
