This position pairs experienced technical leaders with Mento members for personalized career coaching. You will help engineers navigate organizational complexity, improve communication, and achieve professional fulfillment through structured guidance.
Candidates must commit to an ICF-certified training program to master the company's methodology. The role requires a minimum of three to five hours per week over a two-year period.
What you'll do
- Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions via virtual platforms
- Communicate with members between sessions via chat or email
- Participate in ongoing training to refine coaching skills
- Share insights and tools within the coaching community
- Act as an empathetic ambassador for the Mento brand
What you'll need
- 15+ years managing teams in forward deployment or support
- Experience leading through hypergrowth or rapid change
- Ability to balance technical duties with people leadership
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Commitment to work with Mento for at least 24 months
- Availability for 3-5 hours of coaching per week
- Based in North America or Europe
Nice to have
- Prior experience at US-headquartered tech companies
- Background in global technology organizations
- Existing coaching certifications
